Art of Living" is a 13-episode 30-minute weekly design
show hosted by acclaimed environmental designer and television
personality Alie Chang.
With
appeal for everyone from homemakers to business people, single
parents, and first-time homebuyers, "The Art of Living" addresses
universal desires for a warm, functional, Feng Shui, attractive
home. This 30-minute highly informative and entertaining series
produced in a "Magazine style" format. Each episode features
of unique home, as well as "How To" and a viewer interactive
"Ask Alie" segment. "The Art of Living provides viewers with
the inspiration, tools, and know-how to make their own dream
home.
The
show consists of the following weekly program segments:
- "What's
New in Home Improvement and Interior Design Products"
- This 5-minute segment will keep the viewer up-to-date
on new trends and the latest products in home improvement,
interior design and home furnishings. Whether it's an interview
with the manufacturer, speaking with a sales rep or visiting
with an expert, this segment will give the viewer an idea
of the products and its uses.
- "Dream
Homes"- takes viewers for an inside look at uniquely
designed homes, including the homes of celebrities. This
will take viewers behind the scene to experience different
life styles and learn about design and selection of the
element, which makes the home outstanding. Feng Shui and
other design concepts will be discussed in the segment.

To" - a 5-minute segment exploring how ordinary items
can be creatively transformed into useful and decorative
objects. Simple and easy to make decorative items for the
home will be presented in a step-by step fashion. That will
give the viewers methods of achieving maximum results.
- "Question
and Answer" - a 5-minute segment answering letters and
emails from viewers regarding design challenges in their
homes. Whenever possible the solutions will be presented
in actual homes or with computer graphic images.
