Alie Chang

and Chief Executive Officer
Ms.
Alie Chang's unique qualification has positioned her to be a teacher,
a TV host and crusader of the western life style of home design.
Her own TV series "The Art of Living" was featured on Beijing TV
over satellite to nearly 100 million viewers weekly. Further Ms.
Chang's strong relationship with China TV media has enabled her
to arrange the broadcast of National Geographic TV pro grams on
China Central Television stations. Thus further enhanced her identity
in China.
Ms.
Chang's network in China business circles gained trusts of many
in governmental and business sectors, including recently, an Exclusive
Agreement with the Beijing Guo Xin Well-tel Technology Co., Ltd,
division of the Ministry of Information Industry. This will enable
her and her affiliates to provide bridges for Chinese companies
who seek capital and markets in the West and for US and international
company to obtain licenses and permits as well as a marketing share
in China. Her ability in communication and keen sensibility in business
decisions placed her in an important position in many business transactions
between China and the West.
On
July 12, 2006, The international judging panel for the 2006 Olay
Women's World Excellence Awards in Beijing recently honored Alie
Chang, Los Angeles based-designer and high-tech CEO, as one of the
top three Gold winners in the international competition. Chang traveled
from the US to Beijing to receive her Gold Honor at the Women's
World Excellence Awards Ceremony and Gala Dinner jointly organized
by the World Federation of Overseas Chinese Associations, the China
World Trade Center, Ltd and the Global Events Network.
In
2001, Ms Chang and her husband, Mr. Felizian (Phil) Paul, working
together with National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), the
single largest organization in the U.S. caused over 70 US building
technology and material companies to participate in Shanghai, China
for the "World Housing Focus in China" Expo. This was followed by
EarthNetMedia Inc. in 2003 under Ms. Chang's direction leading over
25 US building material and technology companies to Beijing Olympic
Building Material Procurement Expo. Those two successful events
established a strong on going working relationship between EarthNetMedia
Inc., US Department of Commerce and NAHB.
In
1999, Ms. Chang was featured on China Central Television as "one
of the most outstanding designers in the world today". She was the
only woman and only residential designer represented in a prominent
group of 20 outstanding design architects from around the world
including architects icons, such as: I.M Pei, Richard Meyer and
Robert Venture etc.
Alie
Chang has an extensive art and design education. She received her
Master of Arts degree in Environmental Design from the University
of California, Los Angeles. Upon graduation, she joined William
L. Pereira Associates in Los Angeles as project designer. While
at Pereira she was responsibility for the 400 acres urban renewal
project in Queens New York. In addition, Ms. Chang was involved
in the Master Plan for the University of Missouri's four campuses
and the long-term land use plan for several million acres of property
for the Burlington Norton Railway Company.
Alie
Chang is also a prolific fine artist with works in sculpture, painting,
and multi-media. Her art has been featured in one-woman shows throughout
Unite States including University of California at Berkley, the
University of Chicago, Swarthmore College, the Porterhouse Gallery
in Washington DC, New York, and the University of Hawaii.
Her
design work has also featured in numerous major US and international
design books and magazines, newspapers and periodicals. Examples
of her design work are part of the permanent collection in the Slide
Library of U.C.L.A.'s Environmental Design Department. She is the
recipient of Women in Design International's Outstanding Achievement
Award in both architecture and interior design. Alie Chang served
2 terms as co-president of Design International, a non-profit, San
Francisco based professional organization, which has members from
over 21 fields of design.
Ms.
Chang has combined her business acumen, leadership and creative
design abilities to position the "The Art of Living" television
series as a gateway to China for international businesses. Her design
talent and unique presentation manner has made Alie a recognizable
and respected television personality in China, enabling her access
to many of Chinese dignitaries and top business executives.
Because
of her excellence in design and her contribution to the society
she and her husband received numerous awards and proclamations.
In California Ms. Chang has been honored by having her birthday,
August 12 in 1990 as "Alie Chang Day."
